Yesterday I happened to cross S.I.E.T college for women at Teynampet, Mount road. Some thoughts flashed back from my memory and I started laughing inside me. They are ....

1. After many failed attempts to crack bank exam. The S.I.E.T college center turned out to be a lucky one, which allowed my entry in to Banking system.

2. Those days, I was brand new to Chennai. Whenever I visit Chennai from Nagapattinam for exams, I also carry a Chennai map with me, to have a rough idea about the exam centre location, thereafter used local enquiry to reach it.

For the PO exam at S.I.E.T, I reached Teynampet by bus and made an enquiry with two men standing at a bus stop. Conversation was like this..

இங்க சைதாப்பேட்டையில் சையட் காலேஜிக்கு எப்படி போகனும் சார்?

இதை கேட்டதும் அந்த இருவரும் என்னை சற்றே வினோதமாக பார்த்து. என்னது சைட் காலேஜா?. அப்படி ஒரு காலேஜ் இங்க இல்லேயே.

I showed the address to them and said that it's my exam center. On seeing it, both of them laughed aloud and said it's S. I. E. T college not sight college.

With embarrassment, I quickly walked away towards the college🤣
