Current Inputs
- Meet essentially involves a two day program, the first day is a formal get together with our teachers and fellow classmates in TNAU, the second day is optional for those who are interested and is planned at a nearby place possibly a resort type with individual family accommodation.
- Invitees include possible Agri batch mates, a list of professors from horticulture and associated faculties and current Horticulture junior students pursuing post graduate studies in the Campus.
- The venue of the meeting would be Freeman Hall or any Air conditioned facility inside TNAU.
- A lunch at TNAU on 26th noon in open lawn and all of us move to the resort (possibly in Mettupalayam or a nearby place. (Suggested is Black Thunder resort, presumably good and near a main town). We check in the resort on 26th by 4 pm and spend the next day till 4pm. We leave in the evening and can proceed to native the same night. All of you are requested to plan your travel tickets suitably and individually.
Agenda
July 26, 2014 (Saturday)
- 8 am - 9 am : Meeting at HC &RI with coffee, soft drinks and cake.
- 9am - 10.15 am: Meeting with juniors and tree planting in orchard.
- 10.30am – 12N : Meeting with all invitees in an auditorium.
- 12.15 - 2.15pm: Lunch in open lawn.
- 2 pm - 3pm : Chat
- 3pm : Leave by a chartered van to Mettupalayam resort
- 4pm – 5.30 pm : settling down at the resort
- 6pm – 8 pm# : Games for children and children activity and camp fire.
- 8pm onwards : Dinner and retiring
July 27, 2014 (Sunday)
- 6am - 7am : Yoga for above 40’s
- 8am - 9am : Breakfast
- 9am - 12 N : Water Theme Games / Kallar Visit
- 12N - 1.30pm : Lunch
- 2pm – 3pm : Chat and Step forward
- 4pm : Vacate resort Back home

- Kids' culturals - dance, singing, skit, any talent expressing show...(even grown ups also can participate)
- Only to and fro travel; no in between travelling
- Any specific/general topics to be discussed/shared (making a list and give five mnts each topic)
