Peter

That reminded of something about சாராய கடை owner.

During final year, it was some function (I don't remember now), wherein The Teacher Anjanam (Landscape course), was asking each one of us to prepare creative decors to be placed for a function.

We all assembled in Botanial garden, started making Bouquet, various types of flower vase, other decors etc. Usually I don't give a damn to these kind of activities, but this time I thought, let me prepare a most creative designs with flowers.

From Afternoon to evening, I prepared various types, fine tuned, while Anjanam came and highly appreciated, however mentioned let Peter take a look at it.

I was wondering, why a landscaping teacher, looking for Peter's approval / idea. In my mind, Peter is a simple teacher, just reads the content in book for teaching and big black biomass. While enquiring, every one surrounded me said, Peter is extremely good floral designs. I became curious, waiting for him to show my designs, assumed that my designs are one of the best.

By 7pm, He came, without talking to anyone, just wandered around and stood near a table and asked us bring the preparations. I had couple of designs of Bouquet & flower vase with lots of colours. The way my designs were, many colours (flowers), placed with hierarchy and chronological order (Start and end had a gradient filling connecting each terminal colours).

When I placed my preps on the table, he quickly dismantled all of them and re-assembled in a very unique way. I started looking at very carefully. In every preps of him had a different principles,

• First of all, he never used multi colours. His preps had one or two colours, one for the background filling, and other to dominate. He keeps the dominant colour with one single flower, yet the overall appearance was amazing.

• Every time, he keeps changing the design completely independent of the previous.

• He also gave importance to the shape of the flower, which had similar principle of how do we see the colours.

Within 4 preps of him, I was totally flatten with his way of making the designs. Internally, he changed my way of thinking. And also my opinion of Black Big Biomass into a very creative person.

Just that we didn't "see" him completely.
